Addicted to Curry

「華麗(カレー)なる食卓」
Mangaka: Funatsu Kazuki
Categories: shounen, comedy

currySummary: Sonezaki Yui cannot resist helping stray animals although this time, the stray happens to be a boy named Koenji Makito. It turns out that Makito used to be someone Yui's dad worked with a long time ago. After a bit of chit-chat, Makito learns that the curry house Yui's family owns is in danger of closing down. Customers hardly eat there anymore and Yui's dad is nowhere to be found. Makito convinces Yui to revive the dying business and volunteers to be the chef.

Comments: This manga is about, you guessed it, curry! All kinds, all flavors, all varieties of curry. The recipes are included, too, so if you're an aspiring cook you might want to try those out.

Because of their cooking themes, the manga is a bit similar to Yakitate!! Japan but not quite. And there are times when Makito looks like Seiji from Midori no Hibi.

Warning: ecchiness abounds; has mild nudity (how the hell did nudity get into a cooking manga?)
